A non vacuum cycle takes 12 – 20 minutes and a vacuum cycle takes 20 – 30 minutes depending on loading and start temperature. Drying time not included.

The Acuatic Vacuum steriliser has a 12 litre chamber which accommodates four standard size trays.
All vacuum sterilisers generate a certain amount of noise mainly due to the running of the vacuum pump but the noise level is not normally considered to be obtrusive especially when sited in a decontamination room.

Any low conductivity water. Tap water cannot be used. The steriliser can detect tap water and will ask you to drain and refill before starting a cycle.
The data logger records cycle data to an SD memory card which can then be uploaded to a computer and read using a custom application, which can be downloaded here.

In our application there is no difference and either word can be used to describe our product. An autoclave is a machine that uses steam under pressure to carry out some process and a steriliser is a machine that is used to sterilise items.
